We’re reliable, cost-effective, with over 15 years of experience in broadcasting and event filming and we’ve got all the professional expertise you need to make your event video a success.

How much will it cost to film an event or conference?

The cost depends on a variety of factors (i.e. how many cameras are needed, editing requirements, etc), however for a full day of filming prices start at £450 (plus travel costs).

What kind of quality can we expect?

With our current workflow can easily deliver up to 4K/UHD. We are really committed to producing high-quality videos and we use professional camera and editing software. We also provide clients with filming guidance, notes on how we can get the best possible results for the filming.

What sort of events do you film?

Well, we can film a wide range of events but we focus mainly on: conferences, seminars, corporate events, business, charity events and even private parties. But whatever the event, contact us – and we’ll see if we can help.

Can you help us stream our event on the internet?

We have in-depth experience of streaming event videos on the web or we can advise on which platform and technology is best to use depending on your requirements.

Can you include graphics?

As standard, no, we don/t – we like to keep it clean to start with. If you have existing assets to include in the final video (i.e. logo, intro slide) that’s no problem at all – just send them over and normally we can include them in the final video free of charge.

How many revisions do you offer?

We offer our clients two rounds of revisions (if required). If you require more, we’re happy to factor this into the budget! 

Can you include subtitles?

Yes we can include subtitles whether burnt-in captions or separate SRT files. If we know about this in advance we can include it in budget from the get go.

Can you include our own footage?

Yes, we can. We use professional editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro) which can handle any kind of footage. If we know about this in advance we can include it in budget from the get go.

Are we allowed to take still images from the final video?

As soon the final payment came through, you are free to take as many stills from the video as you like. If you need help getting a clean still image let us know and we might be able to help.

Can we have the raw footage?

Normally we don’t provide the raw footage, but for a fee this can be arranged. A very large hard drive and specialised software might be required to preview the footage.

Copyright – Who owns the final video?

We do, however upon completion you will be granted a usage license depending on requirements. We’ll do our best that all the content used is either filmed/produced by us or appropriate licenses are acquired. Obviously, you have to make sure the content you are presenting is not copyrighted or you have all the rights to use it.

How are you going to capture the audio?

We will bring our own equipment but sometimes is more cost effective if we are able to take a feed from the P.A. system for recording the sound of a presentation when filming events. If wireless microphones will be used, then special frequencies might need to be purchased to avoid interferences with other frequencies already in use at that location.

How are you going to deal with bad lighting?

Most venues are well lit, however we invested in professional equipment able to produce quality results even in poor lighting situations. If required, we might even bring our own lights at extra cost, but normally we like to capture the event using the ambient light, because we don’t want to alter the mood of the event.

If we are unable to scout the location beforehand, we will appreciate if you could tell us in advance if:

– Are there any windows? If yes, where is the sun positioned relative to the time of day that you have scheduled your shoot?
– Is there is fluorescent lighting in the location which is known to cause video flicker?

How many cameras are you using for video recording?

For video recording, we use at least 2 camcorders or as many professional camcorders are needed for outstanding high quality video output, but the final cost may increase.

Do you backup the raw footage?

We never lost or misplaced media ever but this could happen to anyone. We have backups in place and file naming conventions which will limit these events from happening. As soon as possible after the event, we backup all the footage on multiple locations and get everything ready for the next stage.

We do however delete raw footage soon after the project is finished so if you think you will need the raw footage for safekeeping, this can be arranged for a fee.

What video file format are you able to deliver?

We deliver the final video in *.mp4 (Moving Pictures Expert Group 4) but if required, we could also deliver the video in other popular types of containers: *.AVI, *.WMV, *.MOV, or *.FLV.

Are you able to provide physical deliverables?

Do you want the final video on a DVD disk, Blu-Ray or USB thumb-drive? The time and process required to design and create a DVD or Blu-Ray disk are longer than the time required to transfer the final video to a USB thumb-drive which means that the cost will increase if DVD/Blu-Ray authoring is required, but we are happy to offer this service on request. You might need special device such as Blu-Ray player in order to be able to enjoy the final video.
