FAQ about Wedding Videography
What is your Wedding Videography Style?
Our wedding videography style is all about atmosphere, emotion and fun. We choose angles and backgrounds that make everything look its best. Sometimes, we might have to create moments for maximum impact, but most of the time, we capture everything as it happens, with a close eye on light and composition. The resulting film is open and honest. You’ll get a wedding film showing people as they really are, but looking awesome while doing it.
What does our wedding film include, how long will it be and what resolution?
The final video resolution will depend on the package you have chosen, minimum HD up to 4K if required.
HD resolution is a standard format that provides a high level of detail and clarity in the final video. It is typically 1920×1080 pixels, and it’s the format that most modern televisions and devices are able to display.
4K resolution is even higher resolution than HD, it’s 3840×2160 pixels, and it provides an even more detailed and immersive viewing experience.
The length of your wedding film largely depends on how long your speeches and ceremony are. Usually, you will get an hour long edited wedding film as a digital download in HD.
For and extra fee we could provide the wedding film in 4K, send you the raw footage, make a DVD/Blu-ray, USB or a short cinematic wedding highlights film.
How many hours of videography do you need for a wedding?
Plan for eight hours of filming.
How many camcorders do you use?
We use at least 2 camcorders as standard on all of our videos to ensure a good range of coverage. Sometimes we might add more camcorders.
How do you capture sound?
During ceremony and speeches we use a lavaliere clip on microphone on the groom to pick up clear audio of the vows. We also use on-camera microphone to capture the atmosphere. During speeches we’ll try to get a clean Audio output from the DJ’s audio mixer.
How do you avoid getting in the way of the wedding?
We will try to be as discreet as possible whilst still being able to capture the best shots. We use the long lenses during the ceremony and speeches (where possible) and zoom in and out as needed, so we don’t encroach on your special moments.
Can we watch examples of your full feature wedding films or a religious ceremony?
Yes of course, get in touch and we’ll send you some examples.

Where there are live performances from musicians at an event, we ask you to confirm beforehand whether you have their permission to film them and/or if a licence is required. You will be responsible for paying any such licences.
Do you use drone footage in your wedding films?
Depending on weather conditions and permission from wedding venues we would love to get some epic aerial footage to use in your wedding film.
Can we meet before the wedding to discuss details?
Yes, we can. I know this isn’t always possible, but we could FaceTime/WhatsApp instead?
Can we cancel our booking at any time?
Cancellations must be made in writing, and we will retain your booking fee, unless you cancel at least 3 months before the wedding or we find a replacement for your date.
Do you also do photography?
Yes! We do provide wedding photography services as well. Check our Wedding Gallery, get in touch and we’ll send over more details.
How is our film sent to us?
Final films will be supplied electronically as a digital download via online links.
For an additional fee, we can also deliver all films on a DVD, Blu-Ray, or USB flash drive. The file on the USB is Full HD 1080p and will be compatible with computers and even many smart TVs. Please note: We don’t recommend DVDs because are all standard definition by nature and may look blurry on modern large 4K screens we all have these days.
Do you come to the wedding rehearsal?
If you are happy to pay extra, yes, we could attend the wedding rehearsal. It can often help us familiarise with the venue layout, plan camcorders position and necessary recording equipment.
Do you offer the raw footage?
We normally provide the finished product, but for and extra fee we could give you the raw footage. This won’t be edited, graded, stylised, or set two music, but simply a collection of clips directly from the SD card.
Please note:
- We need from you a large enough SSD hard drive to transfer the files on.
- Some clips might not have sound.
- Clips that makes the final cut of the feature film is at our discretion, but we’ll consider your suggestions.
- Edits to the final feature film outside of included revisions sessions may be chargeable.
- You might need professional editing software to view these raw files.
What is a full-day coverage?
A full day of wedding coverage typically refers to coverage that lasts up to 8 hours. This typically includes coverage of the preparations, the ceremony, and the reception. However, the exact number of hours may vary depending on the specific needs of the couple and the schedule of the wedding. We charge £150 per each extra hour, if you want us to stay and continue filming.
