The policy: This privacy policy is for this website; www.ozgo.co.uk and governs the privacy of its visitors. It explains how I comply with the EU’s GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) legislation and the DPA (Data Protection Act).

This policy will explain areas of this website that may affect your privacy and personal details, how I process, collect, manage and store those details and how your rights under the GDPR and DPA are adhered to.

INFORMATION I COLLECT AND PROCESS

This website, www.ozgo.co.uk, collects private user data using the Contact Page – www.ozgo.co.uk/contact/, which helps you send emails to: info@ozgo.co.uk

The data is emailed to the address listed above and also stored on the website server, in most cases dating back to when each form was created. The website server is accessible only by Augustin Galatanu.

By contacting us this way you agree to be contacted about Ozgo Productions’s specific services you have requested. You will not be added to any mailing lists and will only be contacted by Augustin Galatanu personally in relation to your enquiry. Your personal details will not be added to any client or studio management software, will not be used for any marketing purposes nor will they be passed onto any third parties. They will only be stored in the email generated by this contact form which will be filed in the email account for Ozgo Productions which is hosted by Hostinger.co.uk and which can only be accessed by Augustin Galatanu. If you wish to request for any email(s) containing your personal information to be deleted, please email info@ozgo.co.uk

EMAIL MARKETING

Ozgo Productions does not engage in email marketing specific to my services. Your personal details will not be used for any such marketing purposes nor will they be passed onto any third parties.

HOW DO I USE INFORMATION?

Ozgo Productions creates a client gallery for each client to whom photos are delivered as part of the services contracted. Ozgo Productions’s client galleries are externally hosted by Pixieset.com. Their privacy policy can be found here.

To visit a Ozgo Productions client gallery you may optionally enter personal data (namely your email address) and a password to create an account. Your personal data (email address) will be stored within Pixieset’s system, on their servers and will be used to email you only with information relevant to the client gallery you have accessed – eg, order delivery updates.

Only Augustin Galatanu will have access to your personal data (email address) stored on Pixieset’s system on behalf of Ozgo Productions. It will only be used as detailed above, will not be used for any other marketing purposes and will not be passed onto any third parties. Pixieset’s technical support team will have the means to access to your personal data (email address) but will never access or share this data other than by request from Augustin Galatanu.

By logging into a Ozgo Productions client gallery you are agreeing to opt in to receive relevant, gallery-specific emails as described above. Emails are automated so if you do not wish to receive such emails it is advised that you do not log into any Ozgo Productions client galleries.

Although I only look to include quality, safe and relevant external links, users are advised to adopt a policy of caution before clicking any external web links mentioned throughout this website.

I cannot guarantee or verify the contents of any externally linked website despite my best efforts. Users should therefore note that they click on external links at their own risk and we cannot be held liable for any damages or implications caused by visiting any external links mentioned.

CLIENT DATA HELD ON FILE

I take care over the processes around looking after personal data stored on my physical systems. Ozgo Productions holds the following personal data of clients:

names, addresses, phone numbers, within soft copy and sometimes hard copy contracts. Soft copy contracts are safely stored within my password protected home office PC and backed up to Dropbox. Hard copy contracts are filed in my secure home office.

Ozgo Productions’s invoices are created and stored on InvoiceSimple, which include your email address, names, and address for the purpose of creating these invoices. Your personal data will be stored within InvoiceSimple’s system, on their servers and will be only be used to email you only with your invoice and details on how to pay your invoice. This information is only accessible by Augustin Galatanu.

Client photos are safely stored within our password computers and home servers. They may be additionally backed up to up to 2 external hard drives for the purpose of avoiding data loss.

CLIENTS AND GUESTS CAPTURED IN PHOTOS

Under GDPR legislation, a photograph may in some instances constitute a form of personal data where they can be processed to allow “the unique identification or authentication of a natural person”. Ozgo Productions will never photograph an individual as a means of unique identification or authentication unless consensually contracted to do so. Guests at weddings appear in photos taken by Ozgo Productions as a part of the visual recording of the event in photos or videos. Guests captured in portraits or in group photos do so as part of the event and their rights are protected by Ozgo Productions as detailed in this privacy policy.

In terms of explicit GDPR compliance, Wedding clients and guests are photographed within the parameters of GDPR legislation on the basis of ‘legitimate interests’. The taking of photographs of wedding guests when viewed as a form of processing personal data is necessary for the legitimate interests of Ozgo Productions as a photography and videography business unless there is a good reason to protect a given individual’s personal data which overrides those legitimate interests.

Operating within the parameters of legitimate interests as laid out in GDPR legislation, the disproportionate effort involved in providing privacy policy information to all wedding guests at the event and the degree to which it would distract me from performing my job renders it infeasible to do. Wedding clients are therefore requested in their contract to direct their guests to read this privacy policy in advance of the event and to advise them to contact us in advance with any concerns around the processing of their personal data, namely being photographed or filmed.

SECURITY

I take the security of your personal information seriously. Ozgo Productions will store all the personal information you provide on secure servers and will apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to prevent the disclosure or misuse of your personal information.

I take steps to regularly validate the personal information I hold to ensure that the information is accurate and, where necessary, up to date. Information that is no longer required for any valid business purpose, and that I am not required to keep pursuant to any applicable law, will be routinely deleted.

LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES

My website may contain links to other websites. Ozgo Productions is not responsible for any websites that it does not own or operate. You should carefully review the privacy policies and practices of other websites that you link to from the website, as I cannot control or be responsible for their privacy practices.

STORAGE AND TRANSFER OF INFORMATION

Information provided through this website may be uploaded to a cloud and accessed globally. Wherever the information is transferred or accessed within Ozgo Productions it will be processed and used in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

The data that I collect from you may be transferred to and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”).

WITHDRAWAL OF CONSENT

Anyone photographed or filmed by Ozgo productions, whether a client or wedding guest, and whether past or current may withdraw consent for a photograph or video segment in which they appear to be displayed. The process for this is to email Ozgo Productions at info@ozgo.co.uk specifying the photo or video segment in question. Pursuant to the request, Ozgo Productions will then remove the photo from online and printed display wheresoever it appears.

SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY & USAGE

I adopt a safe and responsible Social Media Policy. While I may have official profiles on social media platforms users are advised to verify the authenticity of such profiles before engaging with, or sharing information with such profiles. I will never ask for personal details on social media platforms. Users are advised to conduct themselves appropriately when engaging with me on social media.

DISPLAY OF IMAGES

I may display any photographs or videos to promote Ozgo Productions on the Ozgo Productions website and blog, on social media, on wedding blogs, on wedding photography related websites, in exhibitions, in advertising, brochures, magazine articles and other such material, providing that the images used are used lawfully and without damage to Ozgo Productions’s client(s). The rights of the people captured in these photographs are protected by Ozgo Productions as detailed in this privacy policy.

EMBEDDED CONTENT FROM OTHER WEBSITES

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

HOW LONG I RETAIN YOUR DATA

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so I can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on my website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
