New York Through a Cruise Ship AV Tech’s Lens

Twenty years ago, I was an AV technician aboard Carnival Triumph and while the ship was my workplace, New York became one of my most memorable ports. Recently, I dug up old photos from those days—grainy snapshots of the skyline, crew excursions, and the chaotic energy of the city. Working on a cruise ship meant we saw cities in short bursts, but New York left a lasting impression. Did you ever visit New York on a cruise? Or work onboard during that era?
