Dahlia pinnata is a perennial herbaceous plant with a rhizome and tuberous roots, reaching a height of 70 to 120, rarely 160 centimeters. The stem is erect being branched only in the inflorescence. I’ve marinated the meat in 14 years old red wine, freshly squeezed orange juice, salt and pepper for 24 hours in the fridge. To capture this image, I only used one spotlight to illuminate both the subject and the background at the same time. I placed the car on a mirror to get a nice reflection and then in Lightroom I cropped the image 1 x 1 (square) aspect ratio and adjusted the brightness slightly to make the car pop out a little bit. Today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020”, is about rewire outdoor light and feed it through the wall. For about two years the cable of the outdoor light was running through a small window and during the winter I could feel the draft running down my neck. To fix the issue, I had to detach the wire from the rear of the light in order to be able to run it through the hole in the wall.
