Today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020”, is about the girl in the swing with huge pink boots.
Obviously, my daughter doesn’t have huge feet, but they may look huge if I used a wide angle lens and her feet are close to the lens. To avoid distortion to my subject’s face, I placed her head in the middle of the frame.
You might say that everyone knows this camera trick by now, except the people who install cameras on rackets and satellites, unless they do it on purpose. But then why they would purposely want to distort the horizon line?
