The One Thing I Missed in the Perfect Group Photo – POLFIN 2025 at Bayes
Recently, I was commissioned to photograph the 3rd London Political Finance (POLFIN) Workshop in London at Bayes Business School on 10 June 2025. One specific request was for a group photo at the end of the lecture with all the participants. I chose the back of the room mainly because I could use the steps to layer the participants in such a way that they are visible in the final shot. I had to clear the tables of empty cups and close the blinds because the sun was shining in, but one thing I missed… can you spot it? Because I didn’t until it was too late.

Well, an entire panel from the desk was missing and wasn’t noticed until after I took the photo. Normally, this kind of edit is charged extra, but in this case, it was kind of my fault, so I decided to edit the missing panel in. Can you tell?

After that, the event moved to the main auditorium for the keynote presentation by Anat R. Admati, the George G.C. Parker Professor of Finance and Economics at Stanford University. Here are some of the photos I captured.
