032-2020 – Climbing rose

Ena Harkness is a repeat flowering climbing rose. Large well formed, highly scented blooms, crimson-scarlet in colour are produced repeatedly through the summer into autumn. Foliage is dark green and glossy. With a vigorous and strong growing habit it looks fabulous growing up trellis, walls, pillars and pagola. Fully hardy. Grow in full sun or semi shade in any reasonable soil. Established height of 4.5 metres. I just planted mine today and made it photo of the day, part of “ a photo a day challenge 2020”.
