211-2020 – Starting a Fire

Today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020”, is about starting a fire, either because I had to start the fire in the wood burner to make hot water for shower or get the BBQ ready.

I spent most of my day cleaning the wood burner and the BBQ both full of ashes after years of use. Happy to report that both are fully working as intended.

Initially the wood burner stopped working and lots of smoke was coming out until I cleaned the chimney. It was full of residue. Also I had to remove all the ash from the lower chamber.
