Today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020”, is about skyscrapers, a collection of tall buildings in the heart of London. This gap in London’s skyline is temporary, because as you can see a new building is about to fill the gap. Like, comment & share!

Today’s photo of the day, part of “ a photo a day challenge 2020”, is a panorama of Tower Bridge and The Shard before sunset. This photo was taken with an iPhone 11 Pro but I couldn’t help myself and captured a 360 photo from the same location with my Insta360 One X. Like, comment & share!
Today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020” is of a glimpse into my daily commute captured again with my Insta360 One X. Below is 1 minute 360 video of this journey. It took me a while to figure out how to upload and display a 360 video. Even though the Insta360 One X is able to export the video for YouTube, when you upload it, is still showing as a normal 16×9 aspect ratio and the image is totally distorted. To solve this issue, I had to inject the 360 spherical metadata into the […]
Today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020”, is of an unusual perspective of Museum of London, as seen through the window and also using the tiny planet effect. This time, I used the Insta360 One X action camera to capture this image. The 360 version of this photo is part of a Virtual Tour I have put together for CASS Executive Education using Google’s Virtual Tour on-line software. Like, comment & share!
Today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020”, is about the homemade goodies my parents sent to us from Romania. To mention some of them, from left to right, homemade sausages, red wine, beyond free range eggs, pork scratchings, various pickles, absolute free range chicken, etc. After I took the photo and stored everything in the fridge and opened up the pork scratchings. Suddenly, all my childhood memories came back to me – who said time travel doesn’t exist? Like, comment & share!
Today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020” is about a place in Basildon when you can have a lot of fun…with your clothes on. I am taking about Hollywood Bowl. My daughter was invited to a birthday party which took place here and my wife and I tagged along. Not too long ago I spent my birthday in here too. In conclusion, if your birthday is coming and you don’t know when to celebrate, recommend Hollywood Bowl Basildon. For those of you in the UK, interested in purchasing prints or canvases and delivered straight […]

Today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020” is all about looking up. The subject is a known building, 20 Fenchurch Street, which I photographed before, but this angle is slightly different and unique. To be honest is more impressive when standing right at the base and look up. For those of you in the UK, interested in purchasing prints or canvases and delivered straight to your door, I have put together a gallery which should make the entire process very easy. After dinner, my daughter went upstairs and started playing with her toys. I could hear her talking to her friends, nothing new so far. After a while, silence. I run upstairs to find my daughter using her mom’s makeup kit. When asked why is she doing this, her answer was priceless: “I want to look pretty like mommy!” This now became the photo of the day. Before deciding on today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020”, I had a few candidates in mind. Initially, I thought the image of Fenchurch St. Station below might […]

Today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020” supposed to be of a blocked drain but luckily after 5 hours we managed to solve the issue, at least until will rain again. To celebrate, we drove to Festival Leisure Park for dinner, the usual Sunday T-bone steak at Firejacks. So the photo of the day is a panorama of the Festival Leisure Park after sunset. Today’s photo of the day part of “a photo a day challenge 2020” is about how I made distilled water in my kitchen. Some sources claim that drinking distilled water will help detoxify your body and improve your health. I know that my electricity bill will go through the room if I continue with this process. The processI filled a large 20L stainless steel pot about half way with cold tap water and placed a glass container with a handle inside. I covered the pot with a larger glass bowl and put ice inside to create a hot/cold barrier to help with […]

Today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020” is about London Wall Place, where old and new coexist in perfect harmony. In this photo you can see the tower of the church of the medieval hospital of the Elsyng Spital. William Elsyng, a London merchant, founded the hospital in 1330 to provide shelter, spiritual and physical care for London’s homeless blind people. A few feet away is the restored ruins of the London Wall, a defensive wall first built by the Romans around Londinium, their strategically important port town on the river Thames in what […]
Today is about Street Art! The photo of the day, part of a photo a day challenge 2020 is this expensive work of art, in metal, that we are seeing every day, but don’t take the time to really appreciate it. I hope you took the time to really take it all in. For those of you wishing to find out more about the artist, I would say that he/she is unknown and it’s more like a joint venture and who knows maybe you even contributed (with your high heels)!
