Today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020”, is about the heavy rain everyone with a garden was waiting for. It’s wonderful when is sunny and hot for a while, but like humans plants NEED water to survive. Rain/water is one of the main ingredients of our echo system and is really hard for me to believe that rain/water appeared out of nothing and totally by chance, without divine intervention. I call it divine intervention, some call it GOD, some call it The Architect but in the end, sooner or later we all going to […]

Today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020”, is about keeping the balance on a wooden beam in a new park for kids we discovered not far from where we live. Usually all the kids parks are closed, but somehow this park remained open. I can’t explain the joy on my daughter’s eyes when I told her that she could go and play freely. Like, comment & share!

Today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020”, is about the Birds Village I built in my garden, a slight upgrade since yesterday when I created homemade birds feeders. Even better, if you are into birds watching you might like the video below. Like, comment & share!
Today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020”, is about a homemade bird feeder we’ve made from paper towel cardboard tubes. This was a quick father and daughter activity in which we both stick our fingers into the peanut butter jar and spread it all over the tubes to make a sticky based for the seeds to stick on. Then I run a piece in string through the tube and hang it from a branch of the cherry tree in the back of the garden. Now we are waiting for hungry birds to have a […]
Today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020”, is of the beautiful Seven Sisters, a series of 7 white chalk cliffs along the English Channel in South Downs National Park. We walked all the way to the Belle Tout Lighthouse, where we stopped for a family picnic on a beautiful sunny afternoon. On our way back we dipped our feet in the sea water and layer down on the rocky beach. Everyone was keeping their distance and 99% were mask free. Like, comment & share!
Today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020”, is about the flowers I bought for my front garden. All afternoon I planted the flowers into the garden. Lavender, roses and two other flowers I don’t know their name. I’m very pleased with the results. Like, comment & share!
Today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020”, is about something we all seen around this time of the year, and is not coronavirus. In case you haven’t spotted, an ant is resting on the leaf of one of the raspberry plants I have in my garden. Like, comment & share!
Today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020”, is about Mr Bigg’s Caribbean Authentic Food in Basildon. When all the restaurants are closed due to government response to the coronavirus pandemic, a small take away in the middle of Basildon is thriving. I myself couldn’t resist and bought a portion of chicken and rise. Like, comment & share!
Today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020”, is looking at the tall grass in the communal garden forgotten by the Basildon Council, probably due to Covid-19 situation. If someone from the Basildon Council is reading this, maybe they are considering sending someone to cut the grass before our house is swallowed by the tall grass. Today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020”, is of the Corpus Clock in Cambridge. The Corpus Clock is one of the most distinctive public monuments in Cambridge and has been admired by residents and tourists since its inauguration in 2008. It is an unusual device for the measurement of time being both hypnotically beautiful and deeply disturbing. We spent a wonderful afternoon in Cambridge and the weather was wonderful. Below are some of our memories from Cambridge. Like, comment & share!
Today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020”, is about a land snail hanging upside down from a shrub’s tiny branch. This snails seems to defy gravity or is just simply holding tightly to the leafs. I don’t know if I caught it having dinner or getting ready for bed. I snapped a photo and move on with my life. Today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020”, is from Inside the Sundial metal art work at Basildon Town Centre Roundabout. This was taken with the Insta360 Pro 360 camera. The image looks a bit distorted but this is the main reason why I choose it. You have to imagine a metal ball with an arrow running through it and me inside the ball. From the outside it looks like this. Like, comment & share!
Today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020”, is about a bunch of cherries hanging from a tree. We found this tree not far from home during our daily walk and all 3 of us grabbed a branch and enjoyed the first cherries of this season straight from the tree. Like, comment & share!
