180-2020 – Tomato Flowers

Today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020”, is about the first tomato flowers shooting out of the plants I transplanted 6 days ago. The flowers were splashed with mud hence the black spots here and there. As you can see in the images below, the plants are not very tall at the moment but happy to see the first flowers already here. The camera was setup for a group photo of our family, on 10 seconds timer when Diana suddenly pushed me aside demanding to take the photo. She pressed the shutter and quickly run in front of the lens and stroke this pose. 175-2020 – Kidney Stones

Today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020”, is about my kidney stones who woke me up at 4 am today and made me check into the hospital. After 3 hours of continuous pain, the stones finally came out and the pain suddenly stopped. The IV paracetamol they gave me had little or no effect in taking away the pain. Each plant cost me £1 and I spent another £1.99 on Bamboo Stakes and £4.49 on Levington Tomorite, a tomato food ready to use. Like, comment & share!

171-2020 – Pigeons on a birds feeder

Today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020”, is about 2 pigeons resting on a birds feeder. I’m very impressed about the zoom capability of my phone. The birds were at the other end of the garden, about 10m away and the 10x zoom on my iPhone 11 Pro managed to bring them in the frame. In Lightroom mobile I cropped the already cropped image as 1×1 aspect ratio and still looks great. I understand that the image resolution is not the same, but for web use is more than enough.
