Today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020”, is about a delicious pepperoni pizza our family had for lunch. Since I am 90% vegetarian now, I only had 10% of a pizza slice, whatever my daughter hadn’t finished. FREE Digital Image Hungry for more beautiful images? Today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020”, is an image of Doftana Valley near Bradet in the glorious morning sunshine. -3 degrees Celsius in Bradet this morning, but it feels epic. My hands were frozen on the drone’s remote control, and for the first time in a while I took my pictures and returned the drone safely home before the low battery warning message kicked in. Happy to see my mother-in-law walking again. For the last few days she couldn’t even get off the bed. She’s got Stage 4 cirrhosis (end stage liver disease), which […]
Today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020”, is all about shooting for the stars. This image was shot with Canon PowerShot G16 with its “Stars” preset as a JPEG image. Normally, I would wirelessly transfer the images to my iPhone but for some unknown reason I couldn’t, so I had to take the card out, pop it into my laptop, transfer the images to the cloud folder, from where I could access them, pick my favourite, edit it with Lightroom Mobile app and export it in two “flavours”, one small resolution – for this […]
Today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020”, is about the hep-lock the nurse forgot in my mother-in-law’s arm after the procedure. This is not the first time when my mother-in-law is sent home with the hep-lock in her arm. I don’t know if this is a standard procedure in the Romanian hospitals or “can’t be bothered” attitude toward the patient? FREE Digital Image Hungry for more beautiful images? Today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020”, is about my new brown boots from Primark. These boots only cost £20 and look like the ones made of leather, but at this price, it’s very unlikely. Another clue is the lack of labels which mention the materials used during production. If will last me this winter, I am a happy chap. Like, comment & share!
Today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020”, is about my daughter’s Christmas Jumper Day, which supposed to take place at school, but because the school was shut for two weeks, all the kids will celebrate it at home. Like, comment & share!
Today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020”, is about the best Christmas decorations in Basildon. A few weeks ago I captured the same subject, but from a slightly different angle. Like, comment & share!

Today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020”, is about our Christmas decorations. I have to admit that out Christmas decorations are not as impressive as our neighbours, but I wanted something a little bit different and easy to setup and break down. On top, my little projector can be used for various other events, such as Halloween or Birthday Celebrations, to name a few. Like, comment & share!
Today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020”, is another practice product photography shot of a Nike Men Shoes against a black background. I have a few more favourite images from the same photo session which you can see below. Browsing through my photos, I found my first creative product photography I ever took, with a Zenith film camera, on the carpet, in my bedroom, more than 20 years ago. Old habits never dies I guess! These were my first Nike shoes and I really liked them. If anyone knows from where I can buy […]
Today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020”, is about a fun family day out playing Crazy Golf in the Basildon Christmas Market located in the town centre. My daughter had a blast, as you can clearly see from the images below. The best of all it was free to play. Like, comment & share!
Today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020”, is a product shot of Elle Oil’s dvb, a small bottle filled with a “magic potion” which some say that it is the antidote for COVID-19. I have ordered this product on the 28 November and received it today, after 8 days directly from Romania. According to their website “ELLE OIL’S dvb is a solution that through its compounds has antiviral, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties based on high molecular weight essential oil extracts, obtained by biotechnological means without content of Genetically Modified Organisms and organic proteins.” CAUTION! INTENDED […]
Today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020”, is about my favourite dish ever – the medium rare T-bone steak with peppercorn sauce. If you never been to la Petite Pétanque you don’t know what you are missing: a cozy atmosphere in from of the fireplace, friendly staff and the most important, the best T-bone steak in Essex (usually, last Friday of the month). Today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020”, is another beautiful Christmas decorations I encountered during my evening walk through my neighbourhood. In a post a few days ago, I have mentioned two other houses’ Christmas decorations, which incidentally are right next to this one. I am starting to think that there is a healthy rivalry between my neighbours, in regards to who’s Christmas decorations are more beautiful, and somehow I am tempted to join the challenge.🎄Like, comment & share!
Today’s photo of the day, part of “a photo a day challenge 2020”, is of German Sausage from Basildon Christmas Market. Today, a four-week lockdown ends, but England enters a tougher version of its three tier system of restrictions. Some restrictions will be relaxed over Christmas to allow three households to form a “Christmas bubble”, because we all know that the virus is not a threat during the festive period. Anyways, let’s take advantage of the ‘government’s kindness’ and enjoy a tasty German sausage and a glass of mulled wine, during the lunch break. Like, comment & share!
