Experience the Wonders of Space Exploration at NASA Kennedy Space Center in Orlando

Introduction

Welcome to NASA Kennedy Space Center, the gateway to space exploration and the home of many historic space missions. Located on Florida’s east coast, this center offers visitors a unique opportunity to explore the wonders of space travel and learn about the history of space exploration. With numerous exhibits and attractions, there is something for everyone at NASA Kennedy Space Center, if you believe in magic.

Getting to NASA Kennedy Space Center

The NASA Kennedy Space Center is located on Merritt Island, Florida, about an hour’s drive from Orlando. Visitors can arrive by car, bus, or taxi. There is ample parking available at the center, and shuttles are available to transport visitors to the various attractions. The center is open every day of the year, except for some holidays. Dan and myself booked a Crew Tour with the Shore Excursions onboard the Carnival Sensation Cruise Ship, boarded the bus and made our way to the “Amusement Park”. I have to admit that back in 2008 I was impressed by some of the exibits and wouldn’t dare to question anything. Fast forward to today (2023), I don’t believe anyone went to the Moon.
